Restorative Dentistry

There are many options when it comes to restorations. We recognize each person has unique needs and Dr Pike will evaluate your situation and create an individualized treatment plan that works best for you.

• CROWNS
  A crown, sometimes known as a dental cap, is a type of restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are typically needed when a tooth is broken, cracked or large decay has compromised the structure of a tooth.


• BRIDGES
  If you are missing a single tooth or multiple teeth in a row Dr. Pike may recommend a dental bridge as a restoration. This involves making crowns to fit on the teeth adjacent to the space and a "pontic" or artificial tooth attached to the crowns making one fixed unit to replace the missing teeth.


• DENTURES
  Complete dentures are used to replace a full dental arch with no supporting tooth structures.


• REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURES
  Partial dentures are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.
